A Perfect Teapot Tablespoon

Tea portioning made easy! With this practical and high-quality stainless steel spoon, you can measure out the right amount of tea in no time at all. And here's how it works: Based on teas from the Camellia sinensis tea plant, i.e. black, green, white and oolong tea, you can brew around three to four cups of tea with one heaped spoon. If you calculate a filling quantity of approx. 250 ml per cup, one heaped spoon is suitable for pots with a capacity of 0.75 l to 1.0 l. Depending on your personal taste and type of tea, you can experiment with the spoon and the quantity to find the right aroma for you. Depending on the volume of the tea, we recommend using twice the amount for the same pot content when brewing flavored fruit, herb and rooibos tea blends. With two heaped spoonfuls, you will achieve an optimal taste result for most teas of this categories.
