The Tea Lab was founded in 2013, in Cleveland, Ohio in a time when coffeehouses were opening on virtually every street corner. Tea is the most drunk beverage in the world, after water. The focus was to offer a wide tea selection and tea ware offering. The first location was located in the historic 5th Street Arcades, during a revitalization of Downtown Cleveland. In 2014, we opened a second location in downtown Lakewood, a suburb in the inner ring of Cleveland. Over the years, the store had grown, from 80 teas to now over 200 teas, tisanes, and botanicals, including over 2 dozen proprietary blends. After the pandemic, The Tea Lab closed its initial location and now offers everything at the Lakewood location, including online and wholesale. We are not a cafe; our goal is to be a tea shop for everyone, selling the highest quality and freshest tea possible.
